EXCELLENT Based on 1117 reviews Posted on Google Lauren DeFeoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Today, it was just the three of us and a guide named Jeremiah. He took us out to kayak amongst the manatees and dolphins. He was full of lots of information and told us entertaining and true stories about life on the water and the wildlife! We paddled along the ICW - IntraCoastal Waterway - by the way, Jeremiah said we could kayak all the way from Mims, FL to Boston on the ICW! We paddled off to the side to a shallow spot, and at first, we just saw the tip of some Manatees' noses poking out of the water for some air. But after a bit, they were swimming alongside and under our kayaks. I could've reached out and touched them, but you are not allowed to... Jeremiah netted a puffer fish and told us all about him and the Ahingas and the Mangrove trees… We headed out to the deep water to Flamingo Island, and got to watch hundreds of Pelicans dive into the water to catch their breakfast, two huge blue Herons on lookout duty, a bunch of Egrets arguing over the top branches of several dead trees, and Cormorants and Ahingas submerge what would seem like forever before they emerged in a totally different spot! The absolute highlight of today's trip was meeting Max! Most manatees weigh about 2000 pounds full grown, but Max was even larger! We asked why Max was named, and none of the others were, and Jeremiah said he was recognizable by a big "X" shaped scar on his belly from a boat motor's propellers. We asked if he was okay since he wasn't moving, just laying there half-submerged in about 5' of water. We paddle pretty close, maybe closer than we should have. Jeremiah said Max was close to 80 years old and was just taking a rest. "He's an old guy." As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Max began undulating his huge body, propelling himself with his tail slowly at first and then picking up speed until he made a huge splash, soaking our guide. "I guess he did not like being called old ," we said, laughing until our faces hurt!Posted on Google Russell JonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour was WAY COOLER than I ever expected! I’m super happy my wife and I got to experience this! It’s way brighter than I thought it would be! Jeremiah was an awesome guide! A paddling Encyclopedia! And Drake can do a pretty good Forrest Gump impression 😆Posted on Google isabela martensTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give these guys 20 stars I would!! Bryan and Lucas were absolutely amazing, they knew so much about all the nature and science involved. Incredibly serene and calming as well. Just sitting in nature in silence and soaking it all in will make you never want to leave. 100% recommend these guys if you want to have an amazing kayaking experience.Posted on Google Jason DurfeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Guid was extremely respectful, funny, and knowledgeable about the environment we found ourselves in. If you have not been kayaking yet this is insanely the best way to do it, beautiful location and the wildlife was insane!! Not to mention the bioluminescents made everything look like it was straight out of the Moana movie lol. 12/10 will go back again the next time I visit FloridaPosted on Google angelos kerzmannTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jeramiah is a legend. That tour was incredible so butiful, informative, and showed us so many cool things on the guid we won’t forget it! Thank you!Posted on Google Vanessa CoreaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a great outing with the professional tour guides of Florida Adventurer. I went out with my fiancé and 3 kids, it truly was magical to be out there at night and see earth’s beauty. The only bad part was the mosquitos they are relentless and even with replant they still bite. Once you’re out in the water away from shore it calms down. I would do it again and again with no questions. Thank you for the experience!Posted on Google Rachel GodseyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Terrence and Hope were absolutely awesome. I was so nervous as I have never kayaked, and especially at night, but Hope immediately eased my worries while Terrence was setting up. I loved the eduction/history that Terrence spoke about. Absolutely loved the experience and will be back. As you guys recommend I agree bring BUG spray, and pants/long sleeves are a great idea. The mosquitoes are a bit crazy before you get in the water. AND! Hope let my cousin use her small net and he caught a jelly. He was so excited. It was awesome. Can’t wait to come again!!Posted on Google rebeccaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Terrance was such a great guide for our bioluminescent kayak tour.
